Enrolment

Our program runs continuously throughout the year, with breaks during school holidays. Your enrolment will remain active for as long as you and your child need. This means the day and time of your lesson carries forward.

Important dates

The program does not run during Tasmanian school holidays or on public holidays.

You will be notified of any dates or special events that affect your lesson, and you won’t be charged for lessons that don’t take place.

Cancellation

To cancel an enrolment an email from the Responsible Person must be received at dkhac@hobartcity.com.au 3 business days prior to the next direct debiting date, otherwise the account will be billed for the next period.

To request changes to your direct debit details, please email us at dkhac@hobartcity.com.au and our Customer Service team will assist you.

Makeup Lessons

Makeup lessons are not offered in our any of the Aquatic programs.

 

Absence Policy

If your child is unwell and you have a medical certificate, we will credit your Swim School account for the missed lesson once the certificate is provided within 7 days of the absence. If you're unable to see a doctor, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing your child to swim lessons. When they're feeling better, you can take advantage of out-of-lesson access to help them continue practicing their skills.

Supervision

All children must be supervised by a responsible person aged over 16 while at the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre, including during class times. Our teachers may need you to attend to your child during class, so we appreciate you staying close by.  

When not in classes, all children aged under 6 years old must be accompanied in the water by the responsible person aged over 16.
